Lisa Stines, Accounting Manager
Ms. Stines is an actively licensed Maryland residential real estate sales agent, responsible for maintaining multiple websites, client databases, designing marketing materials, and ensuring contract compliance. She has previous experience at Cable One Video Productions and Interface Video Systems as a video editor. She also has worked as an Acquisitions Assistant for CBS/FOX VIDEO. Ms. Stines holds a BA from University of California, San Diego and is presently completing Business Accounting Certificate at Frederick Community College. Ms. Stines oversees accounting operations for Default Resource.
Dawn Stevens, Human Resources Manager
Ms. Stevens has previous experience as Business to Business Sales Associate with CellularOne, and was a member of their Presidents Club. She has additional experience as an Executive Assistant for Special Event Services in NC, where she was responsible for travel logistics for 3 company divisions, process bids contracts and rental agreements for clients with account managers, maintain tour/show and travel calendars and a representative supporting new community start up charity “Angel House Ministries.” Ms. Stevens has previous and current memberships with BNI networking, Jaycees, Toastmasters, and SHRM. She attended Valley Forge Christian College and has completed The Management Training Program for Default Resource. Ms. Stevens is currently the Human Resource Manager for Default Resource.
Kristen Martin, Manager, Marketing & Communications
Ms. Martin has previous experience as a Pre-Marketer and Repair Coordinator at Premiere Asset Services, an operating entity of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Frederick, Maryland. While at Premier Asset Services, she was consecutively awarded Top Pre-Marketer 5 months running, and Top Repair Coordinator 3 months running. She started with Default Resource in 2009 as a Regional Lead Evaluation Support Specialist. She attended Frederick Community College, and as completed The Management Training Program for Default Resource. Ms. Martin currently manages and collaborates Marketing & Communications for Default Resource.
Mike Nellis, Director of Technology
Mr. Nellis has previously worked in Title and Closing for ServiceLink and worked with companies such as Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, Chase, and Countrywide. He has prior service in the US Army and graduated with a BSBA in Finance from Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, PA. He started with Default Resource in 2007, as a Regional Lead Evaluation Support Specialist and has completed The Management Training Program for Default Resource. Mr. Nellis is the Director of Technology at Default Resource, responsible for maintaining the network as well as the overall development and function of the Mark to Market website.
Steve Hancock, Senior Staff Review Appraiser
Mr. Hancock has 24 years experience as a Unit Manager for United Parcel Service (UPS) with working in operations, planning, advance technology group, scheduling and product control. He currently hold licenses as Maryland Real Estate Appraiser License and a Maryland Life and Health Insurance Underwriter. He has past and current memberships with Member of National Association of Real Estate Appraisers, Independent Fee Appraisers, Maryland Association of Appraisers, Howard County Association of Realtors and Maryland Association of Realtors. He is the current owner of Hancock Hollow Group Appraisals in Woodbine, MD for 14 years, having completed nearly 5000 appraisals and reviews. He is currently enrolled at the University of Maryland majoring in Business and Engineering Technology Management and currently holds an AAS in Architectural and Mechanical Engineering from Montgomery College. Mr. Hancock is a senior review appraiser with Mark to Market performing appraisal and BPO reviews as well as overseeing new client deployment with staff reviewers.
